October 7, 2017 - Podium Finish at Tazewell Speedway
On Saturday Josh Fields returned to action at Tazewell Speedway (Tazewell, Tennessee) for the regular night of racing. Following the second fastest time in qualifying, Josh dropped one spot in the 30-lap feature to place 3rd behind Dakotah Knuckles and Clyde Overholt with Brian Shockley and Michael Rutherford completing the Top 5 finishers.

September 1, 2017 - Josh Fields Announces Big Plans for 2018 Campaign
New Tazewell, Tennessee (09/01/17) – While Josh Fields is still focused on claiming wins late in the 2017 season, he’s already making big plans for the 2018 campaign.

Part of those plans includes a newly-acquired house car ride.

“I’ve been in meetings the past few weeks with Blake Terry from Terror Race Cars, and I’m excited to announce that I will be driving the Terror House Car for the 2018 season,” Fields said on Friday.

For the 2018 campaign Fields will compete in the Crate Late Model division in the Terror House Car, while also competing in the Steel Head division in his family-owned #11.

“I’m very excited and extremely grateful to be getting this opportunity,” Fields continued. “Hopefully we can enjoy a lot of success together.”

The 27-year-old Fields is currently in his 11th year of competition and has over 30 career wins to his credit.

Terror Race Cars was founded in 2013 by Blake Terry and his father Brent Terry. Terror Race Cars is bringing a different approach to building chassis in that they have their complete chassis drawn in Computer Aided Drafting (CAD). This allows them to do different types of stress analysis on each section of the car, allowing them to build a safer, stronger, and lighter race car for their customers.

Josh McGeorge will continue to serve as the crew chief on both Fields’ personal car and the Terror Race Cars House Car.

Josh has a single event scheduled for the Labor Day weekend. He plans to compete in the $4,000-to-win, Southern Nationals Bonus Series race at Tazewell Speedway (Tazewell, Tennessee) on Sunday, September 3.

August 26, 2017 - Motor Trouble Cuts Fields' Night Short at Volunteer Speedway
Josh Fields made the short trip to Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tennessee) on Saturday evening for Fan Appreciation Night. In a field of 20 Crate Late Models, Fields earned the 11th-starting position for the feature after timing in eleventh fastest in qualifying. Running into motor trouble early, Josh was an early retiree from the feature on lap 3.

July 29, 2017 - Josh Fields Competes in Southern Nationals Finale at Tazewell
On Saturday night Josh Fields was back in action at Tazewell Speedway (Tazewell, Tennessee) for the Schaeffer Oil Southern National Series finale. Drawing 25 Super Late Models for the $10,000 top prize, Fields scored a runner-up finish behind Clyde Overholt in his heat race locking him into the 18th-starting position for the feature. Passing three cars in the 51-lapper, Josh posted a 15th place outing.

July 22, 2017 - Fields Lands Top 5 Finish in Local Show at Tazewell
Friday saw Josh Fields return to Tazewell Speedway (Tazewell, Tennessee) competing in a field of 12 Super Late Models. After laying down the third fastest time in the qualifying, Fields posted a 3rd place finish in the feature trailing Dakotah Knuckles and Jason Trammell across the finish line with Austin Neely and Michael Rutherford rounding out the Top 5.

July 15, 2017 - Josh Fields Bags Podium Finish at Tazewell Speedway
Behind the wheel of the Reece Monument Company #11 Super Late Model, Josh Fields visited Tazewell Speedway (Tazewell, Tennessee) on Saturday night. Following the second fastest time in qualifying behind Dakotah Knuckles, Fields improved one spot in the Fast Car Dash to place 3rd. Earning the 3rd-starting position for the feature, Josh raced door to door with Jason Trammell throughout the 30-lapper battling for the 2nd spot. Hanging on to a podium finish when the checkered flag flew, Josh Fields notched a 3rd place spot behind Knuckles and Trammell with Chicky Barton and Brian Shockley completing the Top 5 finishers.

Making his first start of the season at Tazewell Speedway (Tazewell, Tennessee), Josh Fields was one of 11 Super Late Models signed in at his home track on Saturday for the regular night of racing. Timing in fifth fastest overall in qualifying, Fields earned the 5th-starting position for the feature. Moving up two spots in the 30-lap A-Main, Fields powered his Reece Monument Company #11 Super Late Model to a podium finish behind Dakotah Knuckles and Austin Neely with Jody Horton and Matthew Holt completing the Top 5 finishers.

May 5, 2017 - Josh Fields Set to Return to Action; 2017 T-Shirts Now On Sale!
Josh Fields is excited to announce that he will return to racing action in the next few weeks. The team has been updating their racing program, which will them to advance into both Steel Head Super Late Model competition as well as Super Late Model competition. He will continue to enter various Crate Late Model events as well.

Josh will now utilize Phantom Racing Engines.

March 4, 2017 - Josh Fields Begins 2017 Season at Volunteer Speedway
The 2017 racing season began for Josh Fields on Saturday night at Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tennessee) for the track’s season-opener. Competing in a field of 19 Crate Late Models, Fields landed a Top 10 finish in the 25-lap A-Main. Battling for a $1,00 payday, Josh posted a 10th place finish in the caution-free feature.

New Tazewell, Tennessee's Josh Fields is the latest addition to the MSR Mafia team and has launched a brand new website at

Over the past few years the pilot of the Reece Monument Co. #11 Team11/ Brucebilt Rocket Late Model has established himself as one of the top competitors in the East Tennessee racing scene. Competing in both the Crate Late Model and Limited Late Model divisions, the 26-year-old is eager to embark on his 11th year of competition in 2017.
